This garden makeover centred on a simple design to take the space from an overgrown jungle into an attractive, safe environment for the young family. Our clients requested an all-weather garden that would be suitable for their toddler to play and explore in, no matter what conditions Charlton experiences.
Composite Decking Installation
We installed teak composite decking to make the garden suitable for all-weather use. This composite deck is the ideal solution for the family garden, as it provides the traditional timber appearance without the need for constant upkeep and makes it more suitable for the unpredictable Great British Weather.
Unlike traditional timber decking, composite decks won’t warp, splinter or fade over time, allowing our clients to maintain the clean appearance of their garden over the years. It is also slip-resistant, making it a safe surface for the whole family, no matter the weather.
New Lawn Design And Maintenance
As this is a young family with a toddler, a large lawn space was required to make the landscape suitable. We provided a fresh new turf using artificial grass to give the landscape a natural appeal without the ongoing upkeep.
Bordering the new lawn are railway sleeper planters filled with trees and colourful shrubs to give the garden some seasonal interest, as well as provide privacy from the surrounding properties. The lawn is lush and green, providing the family plenty of space for play, entertaining or relaxing in the sun.
