Project Overview
This was a full garden makeover by the SilvaTree team, where an unloved garden was transformed through fencing, planting, and paving. The existing garden was overgrown, damaged, and needed a new lease of life.
Fencing Repairs And Replacement
One of the first jobs within this garden makeover was to replace and secure the boundaries. The fences were rotten, and in some cases non-existent due to damage and wear. To secure the garden once more, we replaced the fencing with a new, stable boundary, keeping the neighbouring landscapes separate.
Garden Excavation
With the new boundary in place, we then set to work digging out the existing surfaces and planting across the whole garden.
Our team worked to excavate old planting areas, as well as remove the dated patio that needed to be replaced. During this excavation process, we also had to manage bamboo that had infiltrated from the neighbouring garden.
Patio Installation On A Budget
This garden makeover was done on a tight budget, we meant we had to prioritise specific areas of the landscape and hard-wearing materials.
A large portion of this project was focused on the new patio, which was installed using Venetian Beige Porcelain. This hard-wearing, modern material complements the property well and enhances the soft landscaping details throughout the garden design.
Soft Landscaping Details
We designed and installed concrete planters and a new lawn, complete with bedding plants, for additional appeal to the space. A storage space was also built into the finished garden.
With the complementary hard and soft landscaping, our clients now have a beautiful new garden that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
