For this project, we were tasked with giving a dilapidated outdoor space a much-needed revamp to make it more attractive and functional for our clients.
Garden Design East Dulwich
The current landscape was misused and disorganised, preventing our clients from being able to take advantage of the large garden they had. SilvaTree is a team of landscaping experts that make garden designs a reality with our range of services, and we were asked to bring this particular vision to life.
The garden design outlined a beautiful combination of curbed paving, new patios, and fresh turf, which not only looks amazing but also offers the functionality our clients needed. With this layout, there would be room to continue their gardening endeavours, as well as space to relax and unwind in the garden during the warmer months.
Two New Patios
This garden design centres on two main patio areas, with fresh turf in between. The contrast between the hardscaping and the natural elements creates a beautiful display, while also allowing the garden to be used in all weather conditions. The patio areas were to become seating areas and spaces for our clients to enjoy their outdoor space, so they needed to be durable.
With a combination of paving slabs and Scottish stone borders, we created defined areas for the patio and seating spaces. All paving was installed to a bespoke curved layout to maximise the available space and complement the rounded turf.
Featheredge Fencing Installation
To secure the new landscape and create a private haven our clients could enjoy at all times of the day, we installed a featheredge fence in hardwood. Vertical fencing panels were installed around the perimeter of the garden with a partial overlap for both enhanced privacy and visual appeal.
Creating Garden Zones
This is a multi-functional garden design that focuses on zoning the garden for maximised potential. As well as the two patios and lawn area, we also constructed a pergola. This adorns one of the main seating areas in the garden, adding height to the landscape as well as additional protection when relaxing or dining outdoors. Pergolas can also be great foundations for climbing plants.
The whole garden received a bespoke planting package to frame the newly installed garden zones, adding colour and interest at every angle.
