Project Overview
For this project, SilvaTree transformed old, shabby and dangerous decking into a new outdoor entertainment space for the whole family to enjoy. We replaced the existing decking with a new surface and added stylish yet safe balustrades to allow both children and adults to enjoy the garden without concern.
Millboard Decking Installation
To create the new deck, we used raised Golden Oak Millboard decking, which provides a timeless appearance and complements the property well. The decking is raised, leading directly out of the home, so the family can enjoy their garden throughout the year.
As the decking is raised, safety was a concern. We installed bespoke glass screen balustrades, providing a contemporary appearance to the space and allowing for a clear view of the whole garden from the deck.
Outcome
This decking installation has given the garden a whole new lease of life. Whether for children to play in safety or for adults to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, this deck is certainly the central entertainment space in the garden and a great enhancement to the property, as well as our client’s lifestyle.
